IDIQ Architect-Engineering (AE) Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW)

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - New England District (CENAE) plans to award up to nine (9) separate AE Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to comprise one (1) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for AE services to support HTRW projects. The total shared capacity of the MATOC is $90,000,000. Firms will be selected for negotiation under this MATOC based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. Work will primarily be performed within the boundaries of the New England (ME, MA, CT, RI, NH, VT) and New York Districts (NY and NJ), but work may also be required at other locations within the boundaries of the North Atlantic Division and assigned CONUS mission areas (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, and the District of Columbia).

The target of nine (9) IDIQs will be negotiated and awarded with a five-year ordering period.

Work Details
The work includes various environmental studies, investigation, design, and construction phase engineering services for HTRW sites/projects. AE Services that may be required under this contract include but are not limited to work plans, Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP) in accordance with Uniform Federal Policy (UFP), environmental baseline studies, hazard evaluations, preliminary site assessments, site investigations, subsurface exploration (soil, sediment, and groundwater), indoor air and soil vapor investigations and mitigation, geological, geotechnical, and geophysical investigations.

Period of Performance
The target of nine (9) IDIQs will be negotiated and awarded with a five-year ordering period.

Place of Performance
Work will primarily be performed within the boundaries of the New England (ME, MA, CT, RI, NH, VT) and New York Districts (NY and NJ), but work may also be required at other locations within the boundaries of the North Atlantic Division and assigned CONUS mission areas.
