IDIQ A&E CONTRACT MULTI-DISCIPLINE ARCHITECT & ENGINEER SERVICES - NEWPORT & NEW LONDON   3

Background
This procurement will result in one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for multi-discipline Architect-Engineer (AE) Services support. Engineering and Design Services as required for construction, repair, replacement, demolition, alteration, improvements, for Military Construction (MILCON) facilities and Special Projects. The IDIQ contract will be for a five-year ordering period.

Work Details
The intention of this solicitation is to obtain Engineering and Design Services as required for construction, repair, replacement, demolition, alteration, and improvements for Military Construction (MILCON) Projects, Special Projects, or major maintenance projects. The services expected include developing design-bid-build packages, conducting life safety code studies, interior space planning/design studies, engineering site investigations, preliminary design, development of requirements and project scope, preparation of engineering evaluations, preparation of unit guidance costs or parametric cost estimating, development of alternatives and economic analysis, analysis of proposed sites for foundations, utilities, access constraints etc.

Period of Performance
The IDIQ contract will be for a five-year ordering period with an estimated start date in September 2023.

Place of Performance
Work under the contract is anticipated to occur primarily at Naval Submarine Base (NAVSUBASE) New London, Connecticut and Naval Station (NAVSTA) Newport, Rhode Island. However, work may be ordered throughout the Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic (MIDLANT) and NAVFAC worldwide.
