ICD-705 SCIF/SAPF Planning, Design, and Construction Course

Objectives of the training are:

1) SCIF/SAPF requirements identification and project planning considerations

2) SCIF/SAPF design process and construction accreditation requirements

3) SCIF/SAPF construction familiarization and required documentation

4) ICD-705 Fixed Facility Checklist and TEMPEST Checklist Considerations

5) Site Security, Construction Surveillance Technician and Cleared American Guard requirements

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southwest Design and Construction requires specialized training in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Security.

This training is essential for ensuring that personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge and certification to manage projects that adhere to SCIF/SAPF requirements, which are critical for national security.

The urgency of this training is underscored by the need to support over 30 current projects valued at approximately $3.4 billion, which are impacted by these requirements.

Work Details
The training course titled 'ICD/ICS-705 SCIF/SAPF Planning, Design, and Construction Training Course' will cover the following objectives:

1) Identification of SCIF/SAPF requirements and project planning considerations;
2) Understanding the SCIF/SAPF design process and construction accreditation requirements;
