IBM Software Maintanance

The Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) serves as the Shore Readiness Integrator and single process owner for shore readiness across the U.S. Navy. CNIC currently uses IBM Info Sphere Data Stage within its larger Gateway 2.0 (G2) enterprise business IT platform. IBM Info Sphere Data Stage software is a component of CNIC data warehouse solution. It is an Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tool that is part of the IBM Information Platforms Solutions suite. It provides CNIC's 50,000 employees and contractors. operational intelligence capabilities by enabling data analysis and mapping within G2 applications. IBM Info Sphere Data Stage 11.7 provides enhanced security by receiving the latest patches and vulnerability updates. IBM Info Sphere Data Stage 11.7 provides an improved audit trail logging of events and protection of logs. It provides the defining of security roles and policies based on user authentication and role identification. IBM Info Sphere Data Stage 11.7 meets the FIPS140-2 security standard that is originated by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It also meets the SP800-131 requirement that is originated by NIST. Need: The proposed acquisition is to purchase IBM Info Sphere Data Stage software and support, for a one-year period from date of award. The order will cover IBM License Metric Tool, Info Sphere Data Stage Quality Stage Designer software, Info Sphere Data Stage Processor Value Unit (PVU) for non-production environments, Info Sphere Data Stage Processor Value Unit (PVU), software updates/security patches to meet IA compliance, and ability to engage with IBM support engineers for technical support. This effort is for a base period of one year with no option periods. with a period of performance commencing June 15th 2020 through June 14 2021.
