IBM Business Partner Enhanced Inventory (Parts Locker)

Background
The solicitation is for the installation of an onsite parts locker for critical hardware (HW) IBM parts for the Launch Control System (LCS) Project at NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The purpose is to quickly pull parts from this inventory during pre-launch, launch, or post-launch activities to help de-risk overall launch activities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to supply all parts as indicated in Appendix 1 and provide cabinets to house the parts. All parts should be original, new OEM parts identical in model and type as the parts already contained within the storage systems and sourced directly from IBM. The vendor shall provide an inventory and location system so LCS personnel can identify required parts quickly.
Additionally, the vendor shall be accountable for the logistics of locating required parts in Appendix I to LCS and travel to KSC to install the parts locker on site.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this requirement is 2 years from the date of award. After the 2-year period of performance, the vendor may remove all parts and the parts locker from KSC grounds.
