Hydrogen Burn Off Igniter (HBOI)   2

NASA/SSC Office of Procurement intends to issue a firm-fixed price (FFP) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PSEMC) for the procurement of Hydrogen Burn-Off Igniters (HBOIs) to be utilized at NASA John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC), Mississippi and NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida. The HBOI cartridge is an electrically initiated pyrotechnic device whose purpose is to ignite unburned lead and lag hydrogen expelled from the SLS Core Stage Engines and APU Exhaust Vents. There will be only one award made for this requirement.

This is a sole source commercial acquisition under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) for competitive proposals, but a notice of the Government's intent to issue the requirement on a sole source basis.

The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 325920 - Explosives Manufacturing and 750 employees respectively.
