Hydraulic Test Stand for the USS FRANK CABLE (AS-40)

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Barbee Valve and Supply Inc. (Cage Code 4M588), 8780 Technology Way, Reno, NV 89521, for a hydraulic test stand for the USS FRANK CABLE (AS-40) The proposed contract action is one in which only one responsible source will satisfy the agency requirements (See FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i)) Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability information in response to this notice by 1000AM PDT, 23 May 2023, via email to anthony.t.nguyen28.civ@us.navy.mil. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. The contractor will not be reimbursed for any expenses related to responding to the Notice of Intent.
