Background
The Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is seeking to procure four Hydraulic Heavy Duty Vertical Band Saws with Automatic Column Return. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the depot's capabilities in high-speed metal cutting operations, aligning with the Army's mission to maintain and improve its operational readiness.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of four (4) Hydraulic Heavy Duty Vertical Band Saws designed for high-speed metal cutting. Key specifications include:
- Programmable Control and Servo Shuttle
- Automatic Indexing
- Blade Drive: Electric with sensor-less vector control
- Voltage Required: 460 Volt, 3 phase, 60 cycle
- Speed Range: Infinitely Variable (30-500 Feet per Minute)
- Tilting Column: 60° left and right of vertical, electrically powered with encoder feedback and touch screen controller for precision miter positioning
- 3° Canted Column required
- Feed Force: Direct Force Sensing Electric Ball Screw Feed (0-350 Pounds)
- Blade dimensions: 18’ long x 1.5” wide minimum
- Equipped with an LED work light. Additionally, the contractor must provide engineering drawings and equipment manuals as part of the deliverables.
