Hydra 70 Rocket System Production and Engineering Services   3

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. The Aviation Rockets Small Guided Munitions (ARSGM) Product Office is conducting market research to support the acquisition strategy for the Hydra 70 (2.75 inch) Rocket System. The Government anticipates issuing a competitive contract for the FY19-23 requirements for the production of 50,000 - 200,000 rockets annually as well as engineering services. The Hydra 70 (2.75 inch) Rocket System includes manufactured hardware, assembly, test, and inspection in accordance with a Government Furnished (GF) Technical Data Package (TDP), including but not limited to Unitary and Cargo Warheads, Rockets and Motors. It is anticipated this action will be limited to the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB).

It is requested that interested businesses provide a Statement of Capability, which includes information on company background and past performance, relevant to the requirements stated in this notice. Please provide your company's experience with emphasis on the following areas no later than Nov 30, 2016: System Integrator providing supply chain management and contract administration and Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) of the final product at Contractor Owned facilities.

Responses should include:

a. Company Name, CAGE Code, DUNS, and address of the contractor
b. Point of contact including name, title, phone and email address
c. Size of contractor, average annual revenue for the past three years and number of employees
d. Whether the business is currently classified as a Large, Small, Small disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or Women owned small business, or service disabled veteran owned small business.

Submissions should be sent via mail to the US Army Contracting Command-Redstone, ATTN: CCAM-TM-H/Clarence Daniels, 5303 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Submissions shall not exceed 20 pages (8.5 X 11 inches). Format of submissions shall be in accordance with the outline above. Font shall be 12 pitch with one inch borders. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. All information marked {Proprietary to company name} will not be disclosed outside of the Department of Defense. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The documentation provided will not be returned. This is not a Solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a Solicitation.
