HVAC Vent Cleaning

Background
The contract is issued by the 802d Force Support Squadron (FSS) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The mission of the 802d FSS is to provide essential support services to military personnel and their families.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) air duct and vent systems at the designated facility to maintain air quality and system efficiency.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision required to perform a comprehensive, one-time cleaning of the HVAC air duct and vent systems. The work includes:

1. Deep Cleaning of Supply and Return Vents: Thoroughly clean all supply and return vent grilles and surrounding ceiling areas affected by airflow dust deposits.

2. Deep Cleaning of Internal Components: Clean the Air Handler Unit(s), Blower Motor and Assembly, Supply Ductwork, and Main Trunk Line(s).

3. System Sanitization and Deodorization: Apply an EPA-approved sanitizer to all cleaned components to control mildew and bacteria followed by deodorization.

4. Air Purification System: Service the existing UV light air purification system (REME HALO), if present.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have experience in HVAC cleaning services and be able to demonstrate compliance with industry best practices for deep cleaning and sanitization.
