HVAC system replacement at USCG Air Station Barbers Point   2

Background
The solicitation is for the replacement of the air conditioning system at the USCG Airstation Barbers Point Galley in Kapolei, Hawaii. The project is issued by the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard. The scope of work includes replacing the existing condensing unit and five wall-mounted fan coil units inside the kitchen and office area of the galley.

Work Details
The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and professional services necessary for the project. This involves removing and disposing of the existing condenser unit from the rooftop and installing a new 6.5-Ton Condensing Unit, Single Module (ACCU-1) 208-230V/60Hz/3Ph. It also includes removing and disposing five existing wall-mounted fan-coil units and installing new ones at the same locations.
Additionally, there are general items related to safety, inspection requirements, materials, demolition, installation, contractor security requirements,
period of performance,
site investigation, continuity of facilities operation, safety regulations compliance, and temporary facilities.

Period of Performance
The total period of performance for the contract is six months with on-site work limited to a total of 30 calendar days. The estimated start of construction is June 2023.

The construction projects will be performed at USCG Air Station Barbers Point located at 1 Coral Sea Rd, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707.
