Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only, to determine the availability and capability of qualified small businesses (including Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned, HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned) and large
businesses to provide the services described below. This is not a solicitation for proposals, and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.

Background
This Sources Sought notice is issued for market research purposes to assess the availability and capability of qualified small and large businesses to provide HVAC repair services for a server room. The agency aims to gather information on potential sources, including Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned, HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses. The existing HVAC systems require replacement to ensure reliable climate control.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks in two phases:

**Phase 1: Ground-Level System**
- **Removal and Disposal:** Remove one (1) existing Liebert system and dispose of it according to EPA regulations.
- **Installation:** Supply and install one (1) 5-ton Daikin Straight Cool Condenser (or compatible equivalent), with a matching Air Handler and new thermostat.
- **Electrical:** Modify and reconnect the new system to the existing electrical infrastructure.
- **Refrigerant Lines:** Flush and reconnect the new system to the existing refrigerant lines.
- **Ductwork:** Modify and reconnect the new system to existing ductwork.
- **Drainage:** Install a new drain pan and an overflow switch.
- **Controls:** Connect the new system to existing control wiring and install the new thermostat.

**Phase 2: Ceiling-Mounted System**
- **Removal and Disposal:** Remove one (1) existing ceiling-mounted Liebert system and dispose of it according to EPA regulations.
- **Installation:** Supply and install one (1) 5-ton Liebert Condenser (or compatible equivalent) with a matching Air Handler and a new thermostat controller that meets specifications of existing equipment.
- **Electrical:** Modify and reconnect the new system to the existing electrical infrastructure.
- **Refrigerant Lines:** Flush and reconnect the new system to the existing refrigerant lines.
- **Ductwork:** Modify and reconnect the new system to existing ductwork.
- **Drainage:** Install a new drain pan and an overflow switch.
- **Controls:** Connect the new system to existing control wiring and install the new thermostat controller.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a designated server room location as specified by the agency.
