HVAC Lifecycle Replacement with Installation and Disposal Services

Background
The contract is issued by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), specifically the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), which operates under the Department of War (DoW). The mission of JITC is to support the testing and evaluation of Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. The goal of this contract is to replace six aging HVAC systems to ensure that JITC can effectively carry out its test and evaluation roles within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Provide a project plan detailing time management, removal, disposal, replacement, and installation of HVAC units including new thermostats without wireless or Bluetooth controls.

2. Coordinate the replacement of HVAC systems with relevant personnel.

3. Procure, remove, and install six 3-ton HVAC systems throughout the JITC Compound.

4. Ensure that all new units have economizers installed if applicable.

5. Provide a warranty management plan for warranty and emergency service support.

6. Conduct daily meetings with Government leads/COR to discuss operations and timelines.

Period of Performance
Performance shall be completed within 1 year from the date of contract award.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is set aside for small businesses (Small Business Set Aside - Total SBA). Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in HVAC system installation and removal, possess necessary licenses and certifications for HVAC work, and comply with all safety regulations including OSHA standards.
