HVAC Install

Background
The United States Secret Service, Technical Security Division requires a new 2-ton HVAC unit and installation of the equipment. The current 2-ton HVAC unit is inoperable and requires replacement to maintain a cooled computer closet for security systems monitoring the White House and Vice President’s Residence.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to install a 2-ton ceiling mounted HVAC unit for the 5th floor server room located at 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Specific tasks include performing lockout tag out on existing HVAC unit; isolating both supplies and returns for unit piping; draining down piping at nearest associated fitting; setting new unit in ceiling; running electric, water lines, drain line and controls to new unit; starting unit and testing operation; and cleaning area of all job-related debris and removing from site.
