The Government intends to award a single award firm fixed contract for this acquisition. The Cadillac-Manistee Fire Warehouse acquisition and source selection are being conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Parts 15 and FAR Part 36.

The Cadillac-Manistee Fire Warehouse project is to build a warehouse structure. The proposed project address is 1170 Nursery Road, Wellston, MI. The site is located approximately eight (8) miles west of the intersection of M-37 and M-55. The project is expected to start before 8/1/2023.

Background
The Government intends to award a single award firm fixed contract for this acquisition. The Cadillac-Manistee Fire Warehouse acquisition and source selection are being conducted in accordance with Parts 15 and 36.

Work Details
The project includes but is not limited to the following Work: 1. New 6,000 gross square feet heated warehouse and garage to store approximately four fire trucks, a trailer, potentially two pick-up trucks, and a Work Area. The structure will also contain a Fitness Room, Conference Room, Toilet and Shower Rooms, Locker Area, Mechanical Room, Laundry Room, and Janitor Closet.
2. Wood frame construction with concrete slab on grade.
3. New garage exit and entrance road.

Period of Performance: 06/12/2023 to 06/03/2024

Place of Performance
The proposed project address is 1170 Nursery Road, Wellston, MI. The site is located thirty miles west of the intersection of M-37 and M-55.
