Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Support Services

Background
The 355th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research for potential Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Program Services at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona. The goal of the contract is to provide comprehensive support services aimed at injury prevention, rehabilitation, and overall human performance enhancement for military personnel. The contractor will adhere to professional standards set by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and quality control to perform HPO services. Specific tasks include:

1) Hiring and managing staff including Athletic Trainers (Level I and II), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, and Performance Dietitians;

2) Providing consultation and reports similar to those found in commercial facilities tailored to military needs;

3) Conducting individual physical performance assessments for Airmen;

4) Reporting on unit-specific HPO program requirements and metrics;

5) Providing quarterly reports on program issues, utilization statistics, injury reports, and equipment status;

6) Identifying best practices and opportunities within the health and human performance community.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have the capability to provide qualified personnel for the specified roles including Athletic Trainers and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. The contractor must also designate a primary and alternate Contract Manager. Compliance with professional standards is required.
