Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
DLA Maritime-Mechanicsburg intends to issue, negotiate, and award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract (see FAR 16.504) to PRC-DeSoto (CAGE 23354) for the acquisition of:

NSN 8030-01-565-2617 / part number REPAIRHULL21688SK

NSN 8030-01-565-2623 / part number HULLFILL21688SK

NSN 8030-01-568-7048 / part number REPAIRHULL21GLKT

in support of the Navy Special Hull Treatment. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The above items are the only approved NSNs /Part numbers for use onboard Navy Submarines in support of Weapon Systems Code GDS.
The anticipated contract structure is a 3 Year Base Ordering Period plus 2 one-year options. The estimated yearly follows:
NSN 8030-01-565-2617 / part number REPAIRHULL21688SK - estimated yearly quantity 1,700 each

NSN 8030-01-565-2623 / part number HULLFILL21688SK - estimated yearly quantity 9,149 each

NSN 8030-01-568-7048 / part number REPAIRHULL21GLKT - estimated yearly quantity 132 each

AMC 3 = Acquire Directly from Actual Manufacturer
AMSC Z = This part is determined a commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf item.
