Hughes or Equal to Line Hardware for Hinton IA

Background
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of line hardware to support its mission of delivering reliable and affordable electric power.
The goal of this contract is to acquire equal quality products that meet specific engineering standards for use in the Hinton, Iowa area.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of the following items:
1. 30 units of 161KV Solid Sawn Vee Brace, dimensions 3 1/2 x 7 1/2, with a 6'-6" drop, according to drawing DWG 6129, designated as WAPA WHSE #C555084.
2. 60 units of 161KV Solid Sawn X-Brace Assembly with hardware, dimensions 5 1/8 x 6, designed for a pole spacing of 17', according to drawing DWG 6129, designated as WAPA WHSE #C555092.
This is not a brand name sole source requirement but allows for equal products.
Bidders must provide delivery lead time and include information on brand and country of manufacture; failure to do so will result in non-compliance.

Place of Performance
The products are to be delivered FOB Destination to Hinton, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set aside for Small Business participation.
