MSDDC requires Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at primary designated seaport(s) of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Alexandropoulos, Volos, and Kavala, and other designated secondary seaports as needed throughout Greece, in connection with the import and export of United States - Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored cargo. All tasks shall be completed per requirements stated through the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in a manner where safety and efficiency are priority. S&RTS services will cover the full spectrum of managing U.S. military cargo (e.g., containers, vehicles, breakbulk, and rotary or fixed wing aircraft) transitioning through the designated seaport(s).

Background
MSDDC is responsible for providing coordination worldwide for origin to destination surface traffic management support; coordinates surface and multimodal transportation contracted functions for all Department of Defense (DoD) and other United States Government (USG) entities, as authorized, designated multinational, and interagency elements. MSDDC has played a vital role in our nation’s defense by providing support to the warfighter to every war, major contingency, training exercise and humanitarian relief operations where our military forces are needed and deployed.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at primary designated seaport(s) of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Alexandropoulos, Volos, and Kavala, and other designated secondary seaports as needed throughout Greece. The services will cover the full spectrum of managing U.S. military cargo transitioning through the designated seaports. The tasks include providing S&RTS according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and billing shall be in accordance with the Schedule of Rates (SOR).

Period of Performance
The contract has a 5-year ordering period from 16 December 2023 through 15 December 2028 with an option for an extension period from 16 December 2028 through 15 June 2029.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include primary designated seaport(s) of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Alexandropoulos, Volos, and Kavala, as well as other designated secondary seaports throughout Greece.
