22 Dec 2021 Update: Please see the attached HTC711-22-R-R002 - Amendment 0002. The purpose of this amendment is to update the addendum to cluase 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. Paragraph (b)1 has been updated. All changes are highlighted in yellow. The RFP due date remains the same, 1200 CT 5 January 2022.

The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) has a requirement to maintain Ship-To-Shore (STS) and Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) Cranes. Requirements include Scheduled Maintenance (SM) and on-call Unscheduled Maintenance (USM) and Major Repairs. Scheduled maintenance has the following meanings: The care and servicing by personnel for the purpose of maintaining equipment and facilities in satisfactory operating condition by providing for systematic inspection, detection, and correction of incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into major defects. Scheduled Maintenance includes inspections, tests, measurements, adjustments, repairs, and parts replacement, performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring. Unscheduled maintenance includes all actions to perform special inspections, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and restore the equipment to normal operating condition.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is anticipated to be 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.
