Background
The Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DOD CIO) requires cybersecurity, information technology, information enterprise, command, control, and communications (C3), IT Management Analytics and Data Analytics (ITMA/DA), and administrative and program support services. The DOD CIO is responsible for IT, including national security systems, defense business systems, information resources management, and efficiencies according to DoD Directive 5144.02 and DoD Digital Modernization Strategy.
