Housing Provider

Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the United States Secret Service (USSS) are seeking lodging providers to support the National Special Security Event (NSSE) for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, CA, and surrounding areas.

The goal is to provide housing services for personnel involved in the NSSE security plan, ensuring that lodging meets the needs of staff and agency partners. The USSS emphasizes that lodging is a service center rather than a revenue center, focusing on meeting operational needs during this significant event.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for managing room blocks across multiple venues during the Olympic Games. Key tasks include:

- Securing a minimum of fifty (50) rooms at each venue;
- Providing flexibility in cancellations or reductions without penalties;
- Ensuring consistent pricing and terms across all locations;
- Sourcing lodging from both traditional hotels and non-traditional options such as university dormitories, short-term apartment leases, cruise ships, and corporate housing;
- Assisting in negotiating lodging contracts;
- Managing room block inventory based on USSS direction;
- Developing materials for reservations including maps and confirmations;
- Providing real-time access to lodging reports;
- Offering on-site support during the events; and
- Delivering post-utilization reports.

The contractor must also ensure that all room blocks are secured within agreed timeframes, cancellation policies are communicated clearly, and uniformity in terms and amenities is maintained across all cities.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will align with the schedules of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, specifically from July 1, 2028, to August 31, 2028, with accommodations needed for durations ranging from thirty (30) to sixty (60) days per city.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in various locations around Los Angeles, CA, including but not limited to Carson, Downtown Los Angeles, Exposition Park, Inglewood/Hollywood Park, Long Beach, LAX Airport, Dodger Stadium, Universal Studios Lot, Venice Beach, UCLA, and other specified venues.
