Description

JOFOC for Hotel Accommodation

Background
The U.S. Department of State, through the Office of Acquisitions Management, is seeking to provide hotel accommodations for a senior high-level U.S. Government VIP visit in connection with the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games. The justification for this contract is based on the unique requirements associated with high-level travel and security considerations, necessitating a sole-source procurement approach.

Work Details
The Embassy requires hotel accommodation services to support a senior high-level USG VIP visit. The estimated quantity of hotel accommodation is up to 1,500 nights/rooms from January 20 to February 15.

Task orders will be issued as required to meet accommodation needs and security requirements. Multiple suitable hotels have been identified to accommodate the VIP and supporting staff, utilizing available rooms at each location. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is approximately Euro 1,750,000 or USD equivalent $2,037,000.
