Background
The Department of State is seeking to acquire hotel accommodations for a Senior High Level USG VIP visit. Work Details
The contractor, Roberto Naldi Collection Srl, will provide hotel accommodations at Hotel Parco dei Principi and Hotel Splendide Royal in Naples, Italy. The estimated number of room nights required is 850. The acquisition is justified due to unusual and compelling urgency, as security concerns limit the ability to conduct a full competition process. The selection of hotels must ensure safety and security for the VIP and their delegation, which includes support elements in Security, Communications, Logistics, and Operations. Unique requirements such as adequate conference facilities and the ability to accommodate last-minute changes are critical factors in the selection process.
