Hospital Wayfinding   2

Background
The solicitation is for the removal of existing wayfinding signage and installation of new wayfinding signage throughout the interior of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9A, 10, and 19 on all floors. Option 1 includes the addition of Room ID signage in the primary corridors to match the new wayfinding signage zone alignments and colors. The estimated budget range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Department of Labor (DoL) General Decision Number MD20220043 applies to this work.

Work Details
The work includes the removal of existing wayfinding signage and the installation of new wayfinding signage throughout the interior of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Buildings. The completion of construction is desired within 380 calendar days after award. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $1,600 for each calendar day of delay. A site visit is scheduled for August 4th, 2022 at NSA Bethesda, MD.
All inquiries must be made in writing and shall be submitted via email no later than August 11th, 2022 by 2:00 pm (EDT). Proposal due date is Thursday, August 25th, 2022 no later than 2:00 pm (EDT).

Period of Performance
The completion of construction is desired within 380 calendar days after award.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Buildings at NSA Bethesda.
