Background
The solicitation is for Horizontal Construction Services at the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana and the Glendora Test Facility, Sullivan Indiana. The contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for horizontal construction maintenance and repairs with a guaranteed minimum of $1,000.00 and a maximum of $30 million. Task orders will be negotiated and issued after award for specific horizontal construction maintenance and repair projects. The contract awarded under this solicitation shall be for a 12-month base period, plus three 12-month option periods to be exercised at the Government’s discretion. The overall term of the contract shall not exceed 48 months, or the total value of the contract shall not exceed $30 Million.

Work Details
The work includes various construction tasks such as excavation and fill, asphalt repairs/replacement, highway striping, guardrail repair/replacement, concrete work, culvert replacement, fence repair/replacement, erosion control, stone road and lot maintenance, sidewalk repair/replacement, highway sign maintenance repair/replacement and incidental related work.

Period of Performance
The contract awarded under this solicitation shall be for a 12-month base period, plus three 12-month option periods to be exercised at the Government’s discretion. The overall term of the contract shall not exceed 48 months.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the construction projects will be performed are Naval Support Activity in Crane, Indiana and Glendora Test Facility in Sullivan Indiana.
