Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB) COMPLETION PROJECT-Outdoor Fitness Facility   3

Background
The 482nd CONF/PK at HARB Florida 33039 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for completion of an outdoor fitness facility. The facility is required to enhance mission readiness and will provide a wide variety of outdoor physical fitness training activities. This is a completion project resulting from a termination for default. The winning contractor will be expected to complete the project IAW the attached statement of work (SOW) and design.

Work Details
The completion contractor will construct a new slab on grade and steel frame canopy to accommodate the new Fitness Outdoor Facility to provide adequate outdoor facilities for personnel to maintain their physical conditioning. The facility will have a total of 2,000 sf. and the proposed layout is 50 ft by 40 ft. Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost-effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project Executive Order 13423, 10 USC 2802 (c), and all other applicable laws and Executive Orders.

Period of Performance
The RFP will be available around 25 March 2022 and the RFP closing date will be around 25 April 2022.
