Home Sleep Apnea Testing

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center (JJP VAMC) in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is seeking to procure Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) services for diagnosing Veteran beneficiaries.
The goal of this contract is to provide essential sleep study services that will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea among veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide home sleep study services for eligible patients, including:
1. Provision of HSAT equipment for 1 to 3 nights based on physician consultation.
2. Instruction and support for Veterans on how to use the equipment.
3. Review and scoring of sleep tests by certified sleep technicians.
4. Availability of test scores and data through a web-based system for review by JJP VAMC physicians.
5. Equipment provided at no additional cost, including operator manuals and hands-on training.
6. Repeat testing at no cost if initial results are unsatisfactory or if there are technical issues with the equipment.
7. Delivery of devices directly to patients and return shipping after testing at no expense to the patient or VA.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period plus four option years, with an anticipated start date in September 2026 or earlier.

Services will be performed primarily at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
