Home Oxygen Services

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this justification for an interim bridge contract to provide home oxygen services to eligible Veterans within the VA Oklahoma City Health Care System’s catchment area.

This contract aims to ensure continuity of care while a new long-term contract is being awarded and any protests are resolved. The goal is to maintain essential services without disruption, as many Veterans rely on these services for their daily survival.

Work Details
The acquisition will provide comprehensive home oxygen services, which include: provision, delivery, setup, maintenance, and servicing of home oxygen therapy equipment and supplies.

Specific items covered under this contract include: oxygen concentrators (both stationary and portable), liquid oxygen systems, compressed gas cylinders, and related accessories such as tubing, cannulas, and humidifiers. Additionally, the contractor will provide 24/7 emergency support and maintenance, along with patient education and safety checks.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this interim bridge contract is from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the VA Oklahoma City Health Care System’s catchment area.
