Description

This is a non-personal service (s) contract to provide on-site maintenance and repair service of (2) Hologic ThinPrep 2000 Tissue Processors and (1) Hologic ThinPrep 5000 Tissue Processor. The contractor shall provide all resources including furnishing all parts, labor, equipment, materials, travel and transportation to perform the equipment repair scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the equipments.

Background
This contract is issued by the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) to provide non-personal service for on-site maintenance and repair of Hologic ThinPrep Tissue Processors. The goal is to ensure the proper functioning of critical medical equipment used in pathology, supporting the mission of WBAMC to deliver quality healthcare services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide full-service, on-site maintenance for two Hologic ThinPrep 2000 Tissue Processors and one Hologic ThinPrep 5000 Tissue Processor. Responsibilities include:
1. Furnishing all parts, labor, equipment, materials, travel, and transportation for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
2. Providing qualified technicians trained by the OEM with a good working knowledge of the equipment.
3. Installing only OEM parts and modifications as required for safe operation.
4. Performing calibration/verification certification (CVC) and preventive maintenance (PM) as per OEM standards, including electrical safety tests.
5. Responding to maintenance requests within specified timeframes and scheduling annual services timely.
6. Providing service reports detailing work performed, technician information, and any equipment deficiencies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period from April 15, 2025, to April 14, 2026, with options for additional years extending through April 14, 2029.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), located at Fort Bliss, Texas.
