The Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management, Small Business Program Office, Path to Excellence and Innovation Initiative cordially invites you to two days of informative events during the 2021 National HBCU Week Conference. These events include a workshop on Thursday, September 9, 2021, that will explore Equity Through Consortium Building and on Friday, September 10, 2021, a Federal HBCU Industry Day and Networking. Please see the enclosed flyers and agenda for more information, as well as the link to register.

Background
The Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management, Small Business Program Office, Path to Excellence and Innovation Initiative is hosting a series of events during the 2021 National HBCU Week Conference. These events include workshops on topics such as 'Equity Through Consortium Building', 'Need conference/meeting funds?' by FDA, and 'How to Get on the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program' by GSA. The purpose of these events is to provide information and support to HBCUs in seeking Federal funding and conducting contract work with the federal government.

Work Details
The workshops will cover various topics including exploring equity through consortium building, seeking federal funding assistance for conferences and scientific meetings aligned with the FDA mission, and understanding the process of obtaining access to the GSA MAS and conducting contract work with the federal government. The sessions will be presented by subject matter experts from NIH PEI 2.0, FDA, and GSA.
