High Performance Computing Integration Technical Services - Virtual Industry Day Announcement   2

This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville (CEHNC), Alabama intends to solicit and award a contract to provide internal and external support to the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) to achieve mission objectives. The contractor / subcontractor(s) shall not use proprietary information, designs, or software etc. for this contract that is not available on the open market.
The purpose of this announcement is to invite businesses to a Virtual Industry Day event that will allow the Government to gather information to assist the Army in determining an acquisition approach for the above listed services. Information from this event and any RFIs may be used to help the Army determine the number, timing, structure (e.g., contract type), terms and conditions, and tasks of any potential contract(s) that may be issued. As part of the day's agenda, members of the acquisition community will provide: (1) present-day views of scope and scale and (2) conceptual views of the scope of effort, future portfolio of services, and future acquisition/procurement approach. The Virtual Industry Day will also provide networking opportunities, and we encourage small business participation in the Virtual Industry Day to increase the visibility of potential small business opportunities.

Location: The Virtual Industry Day will be held at www.webmeeting.att.com.
Purpose: The objective of this contract is to provide the HPCMP with support related to program management, DSRC operations, security and infrastructure engineering research, development, and operations, network engineering, and software applications development.
In order to accomplish this objective, the Huntsville Center proposes to award a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) as a small business set-aside. The total programmatic capacity for the requirement will be approximately $248 million over a potential duration of five (5) years. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541513 - Computer Facilities Management Services.
