Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a high-energy electro-hydraulic medical device and all necessary consumables for performing tendinopathy procedures, including but not limited to: Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Lateral Epicondylitis, Patellar Tendonitis, Tricep Tendonitis, Metatarsalgia, and Fracture Nonunion.

The contractor must ensure that all equipment is sterilized and in working condition. A trained technician will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and operating the equipment during procedures. The technician must ensure compliance with VA infection control requirements and maintain proper operation throughout each procedure. The contractor is also required to provide product liability insurance coverage and ensure that all technicians are trained in HIPAA regulations.

The period of performance includes a base year from August 19, 2026, to August 18, 2027, with four additional option years extending through August 18, 2031.
