HHS - Website Maintenance and Design - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is conducting market research to gather information on capabilities related to website maintenance and design. This initiative is specifically aimed at supporting the Office on Women's Health (OWH) in enhancing its programmatic work and expanding its outreach efforts. The OWH plays a crucial role within HHS by providing expert advice, coordinating efforts across the department, and promoting health programs that improve the well-being of women and girls.

The primary objective of this contract is to provide comprehensive support for the womenshealth.gov web system, which operates within a cloud-hosted environment managed by the Office of Assistant Secretary for Health's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OASH OCIO). The contractor will be responsible for maintaining web infrastructure, managing content updates in accordance with editorial schedules, and ensuring alignment with programmatic priorities. This includes developing new web products as needed, conducting audience research, performing user testing, organizing outreach initiatives such as webinars and events, and creating engaging health storytelling content.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the contractor will also facilitate effective information exchange through platforms like the National Women's Health Information Center. By doing so, they will support OWH's mission to monitor departmental activities that contribute to women's health while also setting short- and long-term goals related to research, disease prevention, service delivery, education for public health professionals, and policy development surrounding women's health issues.
