Purchase Agency: The Center for Cancer Research (CCR) of the National Cancer Institute (NCI)
Reason for Purchase: The CCR aims to improve the lives of cancer patients by conducting clinical trials. To accelerate the acquisition of scientific data, the CCR has formed partnerships with outside institutions, known as Participating Sites, to contribute scientific data to their clinical trials.
Work to be Acquired: The contractor will engage Participating Sites in furnishing scientific data according to the Protocol requirements. This includes developing and executing Participating Site Agreements, monitoring data submissions, obtaining verification from the Government that data meets Protocol requirements, and issuing accurate and timely payment to Participating Sites.

Place of Performance/Delivery: All Participating Sites will be located in North America.
Notable Information: The Contractor must communicate proposed revisions to Participating Site Agreements to the Contracting Officer and obtain written approval. They must also keep detailed records of all payments made to sites, including payment identification numbers. The specific systems used for data submission and monitoring are Medidata Rave, C3D, and/or Labmatrix.
