HHS - CMS Administrative Simplification Enforcement and Tool Testing (ASETT) - M

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing management, supervision, administration, and labor for the maintenance and administration of the CMS Administrative Simplification Enforcement and Tool Testing (ASETT). The vendors will also support CMS in enforcing HIPAA compliance with transaction standards, code sets, unique identifiers, and operating rules. The services will be provided in Baltimore, Maryland. The procurement falls under the NAICS codes 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services and 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services.

This announcement is a sources sought notice and does not constitute a request for proposal. Interested vendors must possess experience with HIPAA regulations and adopted standards, as well as technical expertise to administer and maintain the CMS enforcement tool. They should also have experience with conducting HIPAA compliance audits and assessing civil money penalties for non-compliance. Required capabilities include Fed Ramp approval, experience with CMS Technical Review Board and System Life Cycle requirements, and familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce Lightning platform.
