Description

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is conducting market research to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in renewing its identity verification services. This initiative aligns with the CDC's overarching cybersecurity goals, which focus on securing digital interactions and safeguarding sensitive data across its systems. The CDC utilizes identity verification capabilities to ensure trust, prevent fraud, and maintain the integrity of user access throughout the lifecycle of its digital services.

Jumio is a key provider in this domain, offering an identity verification platform that facilitates automated identity proofing and electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) processes. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, Jumio supports efficient user onboarding, authentication, and fraud detection while ensuring robust data protection through encryption and secure data handling practices. These capabilities are integral to the CDC's cybersecurity objectives by enhancing identity assurance and enabling scalable verification processes that adhere to Zero Trust principles.

The primary objective of this procurement is to renew existing subscriptions for Jumio Go and Jumio Identity Verification services within the CDC environment. This renewal ensures continued availability of essential identity proofing and verification services that underpin the CDC's cybersecurity strategy. The renewal encompasses all necessary software licenses and support required to sustain current operational capabilities, aligning with Federal cybersecurity directives such as the Executive Order on Improving the Nation's Cybersecurity.

The scope of work entails providing maintenance and support for various Jumio services including ID Verification, Selfie Verification with Liveness checks, Platform Transaction Fees management, Account Maintenance Services, as well as comprehensive Support Services. There are no Government Furnished Materials associated with this requirement. The successful contractor will be responsible for ensuring seamless continuation of these critical services in support of the CDC's mission.
