HHS CDC - Anesthesia Equipment Services - MRAS

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is engaging in market research through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to identify potential vendors capable of providing essential maintenance and repair services for anesthesia equipment. This initiative aims to ensure that critical medical equipment used in healthcare settings operates safely and efficiently, thereby supporting the overall goal of delivering high-quality medical care.

The work being requested involves comprehensive onsite services for a range of anesthesia machines and related equipment. The selected vendor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, calibration certification, filter exchanges, and vaporizer exchanges. Additionally, they will need to conduct leak testing on oxygen systems, verify oxygen concentration levels, inspect flowmeters and flush valves, perform vaporizer pressure checks to identify leaks, and carry out repairs or replacements of parts as necessary.

Specific tasks include oxygen purity checks on concentrators and verification of regular line pressure function. The vendor must also be prepared to provide all necessary parts needed for these services.
