HHS ASFR - HQ Conference Room VTC Equipment Upgrade - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of upgrading the video teleconferencing (VTC) systems at the Indian Health Service (IHS) Rockville Headquarters. The primary goal of this initiative is to modernize the existing VTC infrastructure, which has become outdated and is no longer supported, thereby ensuring a reliable and efficient teleconferencing experience for end users. This project will be executed under a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated duration of six weeks.

The scope of work involves providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to upgrade the VTC systems in specified conference rooms. The contractor will be responsible for installing and configuring new Cisco-branded teleconferencing hardware and peripherals. This includes setting up dual-display output systems with ceiling-mounted speakers and microphones, as well as Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras equipped with speaker tracking capabilities. Additionally, three wall-mounted displays will be installed alongside hardwired touchscreen Room Navigator panels for system control within the conference room.

Furthermore, a scheduling panel will be mounted outside each conference room to streamline meeting management. The project aims to integrate these components seamlessly with existing control systems to enhance functionality while ensuring that all solutions remain under support for maintenance and repair needs as they arise. By upgrading these systems, HHS seeks to provide a more robust teleconferencing environment that meets current technological standards.
