Background
This is a performance-based contract for Vegetation Reduction services at Hidden Dam, Hensley Lake located in Raymond, Madera County, California. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the services described within this contract in accordance with the performance objectives.

The mission of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen our nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to fulfill the requirements stated in this contract. Responsibilities include:
1. Performing vegetation reduction services using manual and/or mechanical equipment (e.g., string trimmers, mowers, brush hogs) to decrease standing vegetation for fire hazard reduction and public safety within the project boundary.
2. Conducting a pre-work meeting at least ten days prior to commencement of work to submit an Accident Prevention Plan (APP), Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical products used, a list of Uniform and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), and proof of insurance.
3. Establishing a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that includes an inspection plan covering all services required by this contract.
4. Adhering to State CAL Fire guidance for vegetation reduction during contract services.
5. Notifying the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) 24 hours in advance of any delays or cancellations in service.
