Background
The U.S. Coast Guard, COCO, Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-9), Base Procurement and Contracting (DOL-95), will acquire the services outlined in the solicitation utilizing procedures in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, fuel, and equipment necessary for the vessel(s) to support helicopter hoisting, aerial delivery, and aircraft crew rescue support for Air Station Kodiak. The contracted vessel for helicopter hoisting, aerial delivery and recovery training shall have specific characteristics such as length, beam, displacement, draft, deck area, speed capabilities, and capacity for recovering people from the water.
The Contractor shall also provide a point of contact that shall be available to discuss work performed under this contract during the normal working day and during periods of underway time.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will start on September 24th, 2023 and end on September 23rd, 2024. There are also two one-year option periods if exercised.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak Alaska.
