Helicopter Maintenance for Aircraft Operating in Wyoming   3

Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS) program is seeking to establish a contract for helicopter inspection, maintenance, and repair services for their Bell 206B and Hughes/MD369 series aircraft operating in Wyoming.

The USDA's WS aims to provide Federal leadership and expertise to resolve wildlife conflicts and create a balance that allows people and wildlife to coexist peacefully. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services contract.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installation of specialized mission equipment for rotary wing aircraft, including but not limited to the MD 530 series aircraft based in Riverton, Wyoming.

The work includes conducting 100-hour inspections, 300-hour inspections, annual inspections, and corresponding maintenance or repairs based on actual hours flown. The contractor must comply with all state statutes related to aircraft repair facilities and services, maintain compliance with Federal Aviation regulations, provide certified mechanics with verifiable experience on turbine engine helicopters, and utilize a quality control system.

Emergency repairs must be coordinated by a certified mechanic reachable at all times. The contractor must maintain an adequately sized repair facility equipped for the necessary maintenance and repairs.

The geographic location for performance of the contract is primarily in Wyoming.
