Hearing Enhancement through ARtificially Intelligent NeurotechnoloGy (HEARING) - Proposers' Day   2

Background
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is issuing a funding opportunity to support the Hearing Enhancement through Artificially Intelligent NeurotechnoloGy (HEARING) Program. The goal of this program is to develop innovative solutions that enhance hearing capabilities by directly engaging the brain's auditory centers, addressing challenges faced by individuals with hearing loss.

ARPA-H anticipates multiple awards through Other Transaction Award types as part of this initiative. A Proposers' Day event will be held in Arlington, VA to facilitate collaboration and understanding of the HEARING Program.

Work Details
The HEARING program aims to create a new hearing-assistive platform that improves auditory experiences in complex environments. Key objectives include:
1. Enabling safe access to the auditory cortex;
2. Capturing real-time brain signals that reflect the listener's focus;
3. Addressing critical challenges of hearing loss to improve health outcomes and reduce social isolation, particularly among older adults, veterans, and those in high-noise occupations.

The Proposers' Day will feature presentations from government personnel, a live Q&A session, and opportunities for participants to showcase their technical capabilities and form teaming arrangements.

Period of Performance
The contract period will align with the timeline set forth in the forthcoming Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO), anticipated for release no later than May 7, 2026.

The Proposers' Day event will take place in Arlington, VA, with hybrid attendance options available.
