Background
Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) at Fort Hood, TX, part of the US Army Medical Command, is transitioning to Defense Health Agency management. The mission is to provide world-class medicine in safe, clean, and aesthetically-pleasing facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform healthcare environmental cleaning and related services across CRDAMC and multiple Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the Health Service Area (HSA). Tasks include furnishing all personnel, training, labor, equipment, tools, supplies, management, administration, and services necessary for maintaining satisfactory facility conditions.

Services must prioritize infection control while optimizing cleaning practices in support of CRDAMC's mission. The estimated area for cleaning is 1,252,236 square feet. Cleaning must adhere to standards set by AHE Practice Guidance for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning manual and ISSA CIMS-GB certification. The contractor will also provide Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) and Linen Services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from 1 May 2020 through 30 April 2025 with an option to extend services by up to six additional months.

Place of Performance
Fort Hood, TX and surrounding municipalities including Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, and Killeen.
