Background
The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, is seeking proposals for Health Insurance Services to provide medical, maternity, disability, and death benefits for locally employed staff, former employees, retirees of the U.S. Government in France, and their eligible dependents.
This coverage is intended to supplement benefits provided by the French Social Security system. The contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements and will include a base year plus four one-year option periods.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive health insurance services for Locally Employed Staff (LES) of the U.S. Mission in France. This includes:
- Medical coverage for employees and their eligible dependents (spouses, children) affiliated with the French Social Security system.
- Full health insurance coverage for employees not affiliated with the French Social Security system.
- Disability and death benefits for retirees and former employees.
- Billing procedures as outlined in Section G of the solicitation.
- Compliance with local mandatory compensation practices regarding health insurance.
- The contractor must manage claims effectively and maintain communication with beneficiaries regarding their coverage.

Period of Performance
The anticipated performance period is for one base year with four additional one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in France.
