Background
The U.S. Government requires health insurance for its Locally Employed Staff (LES) and their dependents at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium.

The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive health insurance services that meet the needs of these employees, ensuring they have access to necessary medical care.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide health insurance services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Key components of the services include:
1. **Hospitalization**: 100% coverage for inpatient care including bed & board, operating room, recovery room, intensive care, and necessary medications.
2. **Emergency Services**: 100% coverage for emergency room visits due to serious conditions.
3. **Ambulance Services**: Minimum 80% coverage for ground transport to medical facilities.
4. **Outpatient Services**: Minimum 80% coverage for services provided on an outpatient basis including annual physicals and specialist consultations.
5. **Obstetric and Newborn Care**: 100% coverage for inpatient care during pregnancy; outpatient care reimbursed at 80%.
6. **Pediatric Services**: 100% coverage for inpatient emergency care; outpatient services reimbursed at 80%.
7. **Prescription Drugs**: 100% coverage for inpatient prescriptions; outpatient prescriptions reimbursed at 80%.

The Contractor must also ensure timely payment of benefits and maintain a quality assurance plan to monitor service delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, with a base year period ending on June 30, 2026, followed by four optional one-year periods extending through June 30, 2030.
