Background

Gentex is the only source capable of fulfilling this requirement due to their unique knowledge, skills, and existing production capabilities.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of:
- Apache Helmet Assemblies (AHA) with a Technical Data Package (TDP) that includes a spherical visor, part number 13473-X.
- Rotary Wing Helmets (RWH).

Gentex Corporation was the only vendor that responded to a Sources Sought/Request for Information (SS/RFI) issued on December 10, 2024, providing a fully compliant solution that met all requirements. The Government does not own data rights to the AHA or RWH, making it impossible for other vendors to meet requirements without incurring substantial costs.
