HCERA/SAFRA - Not-For-Profit (NFP) Servicer Program   2

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) is issuing a solicitation to "eligible" and "qualified" entities for Title IV student financial aid servicing, in accordance with Section 2212 of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (Pub.L. 111-152, 124 Stat. 1029).

Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via email with the subject line, "Questions - Solicitation # NFP-RFP-2010", to Nicholas Chung (nicholas.chung@ed.gov) and Mike Whisler (mike.whisler@ed.gov). The deadline for receipt of questions is 2:00PM ET on Friday, October 15, 2010. Questions received after the deadline may not be considered by the Department.Conference Call
Further, the Department intends to conduct a conference call to discuss this solicitation, as needed, in more detail with potential offerors. As practicable, we will also select questions submitted in writing, or raised on the call. The Department intends to hold this call on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM ET. Any questions submitted by October 15th may be discussed on this conference call, if the Department believes such a discussion would benefit all potential offerors.
In order to participate in this conference call, please send registration requests via email to Nicholas Chung (nicholas.chung@ed.gov) and Mike Whisler (mike.whisler@ed.gov) no later than 2:00 PM ET on October 15, 2010. Registration requests may be submitted along with the Questions as described above.
As part of your registration, please provide:
(1) The name(s), title(s), and organization(s) of those individuals who will be participating;
(2) The number of unique telephone lines that your organization anticipates will be calling into the conference call number; and
(3) A primary and alternate point of contact who will be coordinating your organization's participation in this call.
The Department will need an accurate count of participants and anticipated lines calling in to ensure that adequate resources are properly secured.
Details for participating in this call will only be provided to those who have been registered as described above. Registration requests received after the October 15th deadline may not be approved by the Department.
