HAZMAT SUPPORT - Demonstration Project for Contractors Employing Persons with Disabilities

Background
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) is issuing this solicitation for a Demonstration Project for Contractors Employing Persons with Disabilities. The goal of the contract is to provide supply support functions for Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Operations at designated Hazardous Materials Minimization Centers (HMCs).

This initiative aims to promote compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while managing HAZMAT inventory effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for managing the supply chain for HAZMAT inventory at various installations. Key responsibilities include:
- Receipt of customer requests and processing order fulfillment for HAZMAT products.
- Providing trained personnel, supervision, HAZMAT materials, Point of Sale systems, and other necessary items to track and stock HAZMAT products.
- Ensuring all HAZMAT requirements are fulfilled within Required Delivery Dates (RDD) and issue priorities for ashore installation work centers.
- A focus on reducing HAZMAT costs and improving availability to streamline processes for FLC San Diego customers.
- The contract will operate under a Firm Fixed Price pricing arrangement with a minimum order amount of $1,000 and a maximum of $500,000.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 12 months, starting from September 1, 2025, to September 2, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego located at 3985 Cummings Road Bldg 116, San Diego CA 92136.
