This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement.

Solicitation number 89503118RWA000003 is issued as a Request for Proposals. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96. A single contractor will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a FULL AND OPEN solicitation. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 562112.

The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, required services of a qualified contractor to provide services of hauling off and proper disposal of wood pole debris accumulated at various work sites. The services required by DSW at various rural locations along our designated power system and substations within Arizona and California States. Exact Maps will be provided upon contract award. Attached are PWS, WD thought-out all counties, and Bid Schedule.

Offeror must be registered in the SAM database. If the offeror is not registered in this database, it may do so through the SAM website at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. All quotes must be valid for 60 days. Only quotes containing all items listed in the solicitation will be considered for award. No partial quotes will be accepted. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.

Any questions MUST be submitted in writings to later than February 26, 2018 to email ONLY TYoung@wapa.gov Questions which will be received after this day may not be answered.

All questions and answers will be posted as an amendment to this Solicitation no later than

March 5, 2018.

Applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Energy (DOE) and Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) clauses/provisions are included with this announcement.
